Molly Edmond

Aspiring archivist. Believer that archives, libraries and repositories can shape and enhance social identity.

I am a full-time student taking the MSc Information Management and Preservation (an IMP!) course at The University of Glasgow. Previously studied as an undergraduate here in English Literature before gaining a position as Graduate Trainee at The University of Glasgow’s Archive and Special Collections departments. I have previous experience as an Oral History project intern at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Lucy Janes

I am a part-time student so I’m taking the course over two years. I have volunteer experience with the Glasgow Women’s Library and Glasgow School of Art Archives and Collections. I convene the history group of volunteers at a Victorian swimming pool in Glasgow, a group of volunteers investigating the Baths’ past. See the Arlington Baths Club History Group blog.

Clem Oliver

I was born in Malmesbury, Wiltshire; I was educated at Rye St Antony School, Oxford and studied English Literature at Swansea University. I am currently studying for an MSC in Information Management & Preservation at Glasgow University,

I have had Work Experiences at Swansea University Archives, Swansea University Library, and Tewkesbury Museum. As part this I have had experience digitalising material., summarising oral history interviews and box listing uncategorised material.

A novice in the archival world. 

I obtained my BA from the University of Hong Kong, where I exploited utilised my American Studies major (instead of my other major in Academic Music) to complete my independent research in radio-broadcast classical music; likewise, I aim to gain experience with music archives through this MSc IM&P course at the University of Glasgow.

Besides having cataloguing experiences from my part-time work in youth orchestra libraries and a recruiting firm, I have been introduced to museum education through interning with the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection.
